Who's up for FunDay after seeing the Boston photos?
I'm sitting here looking at the Boston photos cursing both poverty and my asshole boss--wishing I'd been able to get to Boston. Now that I've had a couple of days to languish in my misery, I have to move ahead:

WHO IS PLANNING TO BE AT FUNDAY in June? This is FunDay 11 and in memory of Kef, so I'm thinking we may have a few more DUers than in years past.

So, who is coming to Saginaw? I want to figure out just how much trouble I'm gonna get into...

1. I have no shame in promoting FunDay and a Kef memorial.
Is ANYBODY planning to go?

4. FunDay is 5thGenDem's annual party bash.
He lives in Saginaw, Michigan. I try and go up (from central Illinois!) every year for it. This year it is #11 as well as a tribute to Kef.

A three years ago hubby (kevsand) and I went up for FunDay and we went thru Indy and picked Kef up to take him with us. It was a most amazing trip, and one that I will always treasure the memories of. We rode for several hours in the car with Scott, and there was not a time when the conversation lagged.

We recently found a few photos of Kef from that trip and a few from a gathering at our house and we're planning to make sure those are there for everyone to see.

If you can do it, please plan to come! John will be around posting invites (see the Michigan forum for a current one!)

As for John, well, he's the host beyond compare. It is a great party (free beer and food!) and it is a most congenial group of people. If you leave sober or hungry it will be by your own choice--and I doubt you will leave without a few new friends.

5. Do I really want to follow that one up?
:hi:

From what I can tell, it is a pretty free flowing group at Funday. I would think that getting away from home for a bit might be kind of fun...

Hope we see you there!
