I drove my car out of the parking garage next to Kings and handed him by bank card. "Cash Only"! $23. I gave him $11 and he let me pull out so I could goto the ATM at the Hilton next door.

I go in put in my card and put in my passcode. A Thank You message appears on the screen, a receipt showing my balance appears and no card. A manager comes over and calls someone offsite saying the machine ate someone's card again, but they are not a guest. Their response - Sorry sir, have a good evening!

I was pissed, so I just got into my car and drove home. I got the number of the garage manager and I'm going to tell him what happened and pay the $12.

I went to a workmate to borrow his T-Pass and when I opened my wallet, my bankcard was there. I just checked the bank online and no money was withdrawn.

I don't know how that happened, but D'Oht!

Stayed at the Sheraton so I didn't have to drive an hour home. Good thing too. I was hoping to see you, Mrs. M. and David again though Sunday. :(

24. Top this if you can: Got to sleep at 5:30 after the Pittathon,

up at 8:00 for a phone call from the little guy; Mrs R got on the phone and I could tell she wan't feeling well, so even though she told me to go back to bed and get some rest, it was into the shower and out of the Hilton.

Drove home through the Sunday Monsoons, took the little guy to the park for the afternoon, worked in the office for an hour or so, made dinner, got the LG to bed, then Lounged it for a couple of hours.

All on 2 and 1/2 hours of sleep...not bad for an old guy, yes? If I may say so myself, and I do.

(PS: I'm not going to do that next time. If you take Boston hotel rates and divide them by 2-1/2 hours of sleep, that's a pretty astronomical per-hour cost.)
