5. When I was 8, I smuggled speed in my underwear when my old man went

through "Truck Weight Stations" at different state borders. When I was 12, he took me with him on the truck to Los Angeles. He didn't have any money to feed me, but won enough shooting craps at a truck stop in Louisiana.

I have little doubt that when he was young and on the road, opportunities to play around had to arise. NOTHING he did would surprise me....

10. My dad was one month shy of being 18 when I was born....He dropped

out of school in the 9th grade. Life was NOT good!

7. I heard a story about my Dad from my cousin the other day.

My cousin is 70 and he told me that when he was a kid. he. my Dad and his Dad (They were both mariied to sisters) and my older brother went fishing. They didn't have a fishing licence. When the game warden came along, they all jumped in their car and the kids ducked down in the back seat and my uncle and dad acted like they were making out in the front seat so the game warden wouldn't stop. It's hard to imagine my dad would do this, but I think it is hilarious!
