Why do people whistle when they don't know how?
This dude here at work has been "whistling" all day and he sounds like someone is jumping up and down on one of those pet toys.
It's one of those people who just whistle anything and it's not even a real song, just a bunch of half-assed "notes". I guess I could start throwing things at him, but I don't want to piss anyone off..lol.
Oh, and half of it is just air because he obviously has never realized that he sounds like shit.
Why do people do that?
OK, end of rant.
Oh, cool..I get to use this:

2. Because then I wouldn't have been able to use that cool smilie
Plus, he is one of "them" and I would be sentenced to hours of listening to him talk about abortion and how I am going to hell for putting down how he whistles. And yes, he could turn a whistling conversation in to an abortion conversation. He changes all conversation in to an abortion conversation.

3.  I do that.
With me it's because I've alway wanted to learn how to whistle. For most of my life I was not able to for some reason. It's only been during the last several years that I have been able to occasionally whistle part of a tune. I probably sound just like your co-worker most of the time. It's practice on my part.

7. Oh...well that's cool
It's just that this guy is sitting about 30 feet away from me and going on and on. A few hours of nonsensical chirps and whirls can start to get a little annoying...:)
