Please. Say it's not true. There are really nice people here, too.

A lot of us are really not David Koresh look and act alikes.

1. Once I was staying with friends in Boston

I'm from Louisiana, and I was talking about home, and one of the ladies at this little dinner party was going on and on about how she would never visit the South, that she was so afraid of getting stopped by some podunk cop and thrown in jail, etc, etc, etc.

I said, "Seen one too many episodes of Charlie's Angels, have you?"

Yep, bigotry is everywhere.

2. You didn't have the Aryan Nation try to move in.
Why would they think we would want them here? Unless our reputation has gotten that bad.

5. Oh year. I forgot.
The KKK and their white sheet thing. And the burning crosses.

Pretty soon they may be making a comeback. It will be popular again to be seen with them. Grand Dragon and all of that stuff.

Bunch of impotent white guys.

4. I've been to KC Missouri
it was nice, though I didn't do much more than drive from the airport into Kansas, but I liked what I saw. Nice people in Kansas too.

6. Oh, yea.
Lots of nice people. You just don't get to hear from us very much. We are getting overpowered by the other guys. The super Christians.

8. Welcome to the south
I live in the Strom Thurmond state. Most of my friends from California and the North East think that it's exactly like deliverance here, or that I live in a swamp or something.

They may be 30 years behind the times around here, but hey.. I'd give up the rat race any day to live in the south. No snow either!

9. missouri? thought it was set in Georgia?
I wouldn't worry about people who call names.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.
