Ebay and Firefox
I'm curious if anyone here using Firefox has a hard time getting on Ebay. I don't use Ebay much, but some of the people at the office are having a hard time getting on. I had most people install Firefox because I was sick of cleaning up their computers, but some stayed with I.E.
So I just was asked about Ebay again and I wondered if maybe it was a Ebay with Firefox problem.
When you try to get on w/ Firefox, it tried to go to ebaystatic.com.
Anyone else experiencing this?

1. use firefox and mozilla in our home and we simply cannot sign on to ebay
at all. Sent for my password again to make sure that wasn't the problem. It will not take it. It will not let us set up a new account. Glad I am not ebay addicted, but there are times I would like to use it.

14. Nope. We pulled that cancerous POS off the computer
I will live without the few sites stupid enough to insist one uses IE! As more and more go to other browsers, they will wise up or go under.

8. If a company network, may have more to do with firewall config - which
just totally maxed out my technical knowledge. I get on fine with FireFox, I'd look at the forum suggested.

11. Exactly... it's a fireWALL issue, not a fireFOX issue
Sounds like the company has blocked connections to e bay under the banner of "unauthorized use of company resources." Some Repuke owned companies would even block DU under the same justification.

They block it for users of Firefox and not of Internet Explorer?

On edit:
A lot of people at the forum mentioned above have been having the same problem.

12. I can't use my banks bill pay with Firefox
I can get into my account fine, select the bills I'm paying, but it won't let me pay them. I just switch over to IE for that.

13. You might be able to find an answer on the forum suggested above
I found a hell of a lot of people with the Ebay problem, but no one seemed to have the answer.
