Just watch, like an anchor into the deep.

Speaking of anchors, I just found a 1959 Plastyle boat with a running 1959 Scott motor for 100 bucks, got a restoration project now..

1. :::: glug, glub, glug :::::
I'm sorry. Having never drowned, I'm not sure what sound I'd make, but I'm also not a stone.

At least I tried............. :)

6. Working on it,
got the "befores" in the camera now.

It's in such great shape to start with, mostly cosmetics and some corrosion of 46-year-old parts to deal with.

14. Thanks, but nope,
I'll probably never get rid of it, it reminds me too much of a boat my grandfather had when I was a wee child.

Not to mention, it did not come with a trailer and is a pain in the ass to move right now.....:-)

8. Everybody's a sucker for that kind of style;
when you're done restoring it and take it out on the water, I guarantee you're going to get tons of admiring compliments.

It's one DAMN cool-looking boat.

You know, I picked up the dispenser on my desk and it must weigh almost a pound. I would hate to be hit by the thing

10. Has he been reported to have used such a thing?
We have a bunch of those around work, they could leave a *serious* dent.

always looks better than the real thing.

18. Well yeah, but still.
I miss the days when auto designers went for lines like that.

Now it seems they're all cookie-cutter cars or just plain weird.

:shrug:

Looking forward to the pics. :)
