I actually watched the clock. It is a three step process.

Am I insane?

1. How often do you do it?
Just curious. I think my wife washes her hair too often...

4. Twice a week.
If I washed it every day like some do it would never dry. It is long.

2. I can go from dead asleep to fully dressed in less than an hour.
That includes the morning...ummm...you know what you have to do first thing in the am, a shower, with washing hair and shaving.

But then I'm a boy. What do I know from insane?

7. An hour?
My alarm goes off at 5 AM and I'm out the door for work at 5:20 AM. Earlier if it's a non-shaving day (tues + thurs). Just brush hair, shave, brush/floss/listerine, dress, grab keys and go. All other hygene is done the night before (including teeth, yup twice a day). Standard dress is solid color BDU trousers and a solid color t-shirt so I don't have to wonder what to wear.

Zoom!

9. Hmmmm...I have to wear shirt and tie.
And actually...I mis-stated. My alarm goes off at 6:21am and I am out the door at 6:50.

10. I understand
I trained my bosses early to understand that engineers don't like to play dress up. The computer is never impressed no matter how nifty the tie. Anyway, at any point in the day I may have to run out and inspect some industry or another, and a suit just don't cut it. It's always fun to see the looks on people's faces when all these consultants and lawyers show up for a meeting in their sharp suits and I happened to wear the vietnam tiger stripe camo pants that day with low-top Converse Chucks. Funny, the work gets done no matter what I have hanging off me.

11. I'm with you.
As long as you don't deal with the public face-to-face, who cares what you look like. Just get it done.

Unfortunately my superiors aren't as enlightened. :eyes:

12. I'm a chick, and I only take 30 minutes...
And if I don't have to do make up, 20.
I rock!

13. I can be ready in a little less than 30 minutes.
I shower at night, so that's not a problem. The thing that takes me the longest is breakfast, because I like to sit down at the table and actually eat breakfast (bowl of cereal or a bagel, whatever).

But the rest is fast. Makeup is simple, hair is simple, contact lenses, brush teeth. Clothes are simple because I kind of decide the night before.

14. I don't know what I was talking about. I'm at my desk in less than 40 min.
I live 5 minutes from work, and I'm sitting at my desk before 7, after getting up at 6:20.

6. Yes
It takes about 20 minutes for me for work hair, 35 minutes for funtime hair. That includes the shower.

8. I don't know if bald is beautiful

but it's certainly gotta be a hell of a lot quicker and easier.

Unless you polish and buff it, I guess.
