I might accidentally be connected via someone else's WiFi
What to do? I've been having problems with my phone line and connection. Anyway, long story short, I had to reinstall a few things, SBC came out and fixed the line, but when I reconnected it seems like I'm on via WiFi and I haven't set up my router or installed the hi-speed cable until next week.

Thoughts?

Go to Network Connections, and disable the wirless connection, then activate the wired LAN connection. If the wireless connection is not listed, or it says it's disabled, then you are not on WiFi.

You can disable/enable a connection by right clicking on the icon. The appropriate choice is right at the top of the menu.
