...to stand at the door of the upper unit in a duplex, which is incidentally right next to the lower unit of the duplex, and bang on the door, and then when there is no answer, dial the upper unit on your cell phone, and yell "you fuckhead, you said you were going to be home, and I got up early just to come here, and I'm just going to keep banging on the door until you answer" into the cell phone, and then just doing that, punctuating each bang on the door with one syllable "of you dumb fuck shit head punk ass" and so on, until the occupant of the lower unit comes out and lets you know that the walls are very thin, the banging can be heard probably on the next block, and, if it's any help, the lower occupant has not heard any footsteps from the upper apartment all morning.
