Judit, the youngest sister, is a best chess player of the three, which is saying a lot. Judit Polgar refuses to play in women only events; with Kasparov's recent retirement, she is the eighth ranked player in the world.

Chess is not a Olympic sport.

However, there is an international team tournament, often called the Chess Olympiad held every two to four years. The most recent one was held last October in Calvia, Mallorca, Spain.

Alexandra Kosteniuk recently won the gender-neutral title of International Grandmaster. She also writes poetry, does fashion modeling and has appeared in a major Russian motion picture.
