I love ELO

Over the years I've liked a few ELO songs and was always embarrassed to admit it. But today I'm going to come right out with it. I've been listening to more of their songs and I LOVE the Electric Light Orchestra! Yes their music is a little superfluous and goofy but I accept it for what it is.

No, I'm not gay either.

My husband loves ELO, but he displays his ELO LPs (yes, we have a turntable) proudly. He's not gay, either.

ELO made some Great Hit Records (back when such things existed) and sure did their part to counteract the pap and treacle of Top 40 Radio (back when such things existed).

But didja ever hear The Move's original version of "Do Ya?"
