Favorite Commercial
What's your favorite current commercial? Mine is the Travelocity commercial where the Roaming Nome sticks an American appliance cord in a European outlet and gets zapped.

That is SO condescending.

3. Not current, but I loved the Toys R Us "Rain Check" commercial...
I only saw it twice and it was hilarious. This kid asks his dad to play, and the dad says something like, he'll have to take a rain check. So then the kid plays ball with "Rain Check", all kinds of scenes with the kid and "Rain Check"....at the end the kid goes "Go Rain Check, Go Rain Check..."

It was great.

Currently, it's the Adrien Brody Coke commercial 'cause he's extra cute. :loveya:

5. A foreign one that is currently making the rounds on the Internet...

entitled "Best Commercial Ever."

A father and son are shopping. The kid puts a bag of candy in the shopping cart. The father puts it back on the shelf. The kid again puts the candy in the shopping cart with a baleful look at his father.. The father puts it on the shelf again. The kid opens his mouth and wails as loud as he can (in German, I think), "I WANT THOSE SWEETIES!!! I WANT THOSE SWEETIES!!!!" At which point the kid starts running around wailing and screaming, pulling produce off the shelves and out of the refrigerated containers, then throwing himself on the floor, kicking his feet, screaming. Other customers move out of his way and look at the father with a "Why don't you control him" expression on their faces.

Then the screen closes in on the distressed father's face and the words

Use condoms

appear at the bottom of the screen. Next frame shows the brand name "ZaZoo."

The commercial has quite a message.

6. Two guys and the bee hive.
May not be an effective commercial, as I've no idea what it's for. But I love how "mission orientied" they are, then they crush the hive and everything goes to hell. That is SOOOOo how those sorts of things go. Hilarious!
