7. It was a hearing on immigration in the Dirksen building
It was nice to see one of my political heroes, Kennedy in person.

11. Yeah. That's a memory to cherish.
There are still some "Kennedy '80" bumperstickers attached to a lamppost in my neighborhood.

15. Definitely. It was when I was in journalism school, and
we were "covering" it for our class. It was great! The freeper equivalents of the day were there to protest him. (These were the antibusing folks from South Boston.)

16. We were a John Anderson household
I sure do like Carter, though, most underappreciated President of recent history.

23. My first vote for President!
I voted for Ted Kennedy in the California primary in 1980.

I had to make up for my mom voting for Nixon in 1960.

I always wondered if I kicked her in the womb when she did that.

She has since woke up.

I really only have nasty epitets for our junior senator, Allen. Warner I dont really like him but I wouldnt say I hate him, in fact he did something quite good recently, he voted to overturn the Bush admin gag rules on abortion and Warner unlike many southern republicans isnt affiliated with the christian right like that idiot Allen is.

You go.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.
