Is someone diddling with the internets again tonite?
How's a man supposed to work if he can't get online to update a new computer install? I mean, REALLY. Someone just needs to cut it out.

How long before they start calling it a terra attack?

2. I was just about to ask the same question
I've had a 3-hour segment of complete downtime for the past two days, starting at almost exactly 7:00pm MST. Tomorrow is the true test. It's a very strange that it's happening to other folks too. Are you on Comcast by chance?

5. What's your ISP?
I've been having issues on and off for a week.

Comcast has a recording on their customer service number saying they are having issues and are working on it, but I don't know if that's just a standard thing they put on there.

I do know that a note is going to be written on the bill saying that if service isn't better next month I'm only paying half.

I'm so glad they stopped regulating cable companies. It sure worked out well.

7. Just checked the Comcast newsgroups
And the problem is verified.. The Comcast DNS is going down periodically. It affects all Comcast customers.

It's scary that it happened at the same time both days.. That leads me to believe it's some sort of trojan or coordinated attack.
