Buckeyes win a big one!
Sorry so late with this post...it was my daughter's birthday party today, so I taped the game and just got done watching it.

Way to go Buckeyes! Special teams domination and the crowd even gives effortthat grants 2 points.

Oh, and is Gary Danielson a biased little asshole or what????

1. Happy birthday to Charlotte!
Our offense worries me. Terribly. Special teams and defense looked damn good, though.

Danielson isn't even close to the worst announcer ABC has, but you have a point.

3. He was so biased...
...that Musburger was LAUGHING at him!

Did you see when he tried to draw the line to simulate the goal line, and drew it atthe WORSTangle, just to keep the ball out of the end zone.

Also, every play the Buckeyes had, Danielson called for a penalty, but didn't say a word when Iowa held two men on their TD.

As for our offense, Iowa's defense is pretty good...I'm not worried. Drew Carter had a breakout game, so we've got that to look forward too. Plus, I LIKE the fact that Tressell gave up on Ross and Hall and is going with the freshman.

Hey, we beat the #9 team in the country on a day that we couldn't have been more vulnerable. Following a bad loss, without a starting LB, no running game, our QB struggling....and we really pushed Iowa around today.

6. Everything you say is true.
I just wish we could run a little. Just a little. When we need to. 1st and goal on the two, and we run back to back QB sneaks? Whether Danielson's line was off or not, we need to power that one in with a running back. And clearly (at least to Tressel), we couldn't. That's worrisome.

4. Thanks for giving us the safety!
That one belongs the the crowd. They blasted that offensive line and forced the bad snap...over the head of a 6'7" QB.

Wasn't it great to see us force about 10 rushing plays for negative yards ?? (including one for a 15-yard loss)

8. D'Andrea
It was good to see Mike D'Andrea have a decent game today. When he was recruited, he was the second coming of Katzenmoyer, and he hadn't really shown me anything until today. He was in on some nice plays today. That's encouraging to me.
