Where would you like to go but have never been?
Travel destinations I mean, though if you want to say "I've never been to me," by all means go ahead. Ahhhhhh, I dunno, for me a lot of the places I meant to go when I was young I'm less interested in now, but I'm still disappointed that I didn't get to go to Krakow and Prague, and I guess I'd like to be awed by the Pyramids. And you?

39. If ya shop it right,
Shop out the right prices.
Go camping (if you go in july or august your basic $50 tent will work)
Take the right gas econo car. switch up at the wheel to get there quick like.
Don't go to towns and blow all your loot on crapo souv's. go on the hikes and take your own photo's and memories instead.
wnat to see "shock and awe" go to big sky country. Just "pack out" whatever you "pack in" so as to leave unspoiled.
:)

9. Believe it or not, Washington D.C.
I have traveled from coast to coast, north to south, Canada and Mexico, even Hawaii twice, but I have never been to Washington D.C. I kept saying that I would get around to it eventually but I never did. After the courts installed bush* as the presidential placeholder I swore I wouldn't go until a Democrat is sitting in the Oval Office so it looks like I won't be going until at least 2009. :-)

Santa Fe is the most bewitching place I've ever been. The feeling stays with you forever. (I'm not with the Chamber, honest!)

I'd like to go there when it's time for me to die.

18. china
as a ceramic artist i am especially drawn to china. i was very disappointed when i joined a clay co-op, and the really great member from china promptly moved out of town. he returned home regularly, and took members with him. i thought i was finally going. missed it my "this" much.
i think i will make it to my next desire- spend some time in mexico. i speak a tiny bit of the language, and think it would be good to have to use it.

caveat on both these destinations- to get there before their environments are totally destroyed.

29. New Zealand.
I have no idea whether it's realistic or not, but as the parent of two sons, aged 5 and 10, who worries about them being killed in Bush wars, or impoverished by Bush economics, I'm seriously thinking of the place as a kind of promised land.

I think it may be hard to immigrate there though.

I had a trip scheduled in April 2000 which was cancelled. I hope it will be safe to visit someday soon.

Lots of other places I'd like to go. The Pyramids, I dunno, it sounds like there is too much touting there. Several of my friends went and liked it, but I don't know if it's for me.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

There are many earthly destinations I'd love to see that have been mentioned above. But to be on the path to a life I've not had before feeling love from a woman and having a rewarding career with the feeling that I'm in my right place is where I want to be most of all.

(Or, frankly, has even heard of the place...)

The problem with that Cape Town departure is that sometimes you have to wait a long time (like a month) before the weather is calm enough to depart. I think this is the type of journey where you leave between jobs and have unlimited time and money. :D
