I lived in Italy for nearly a year and was called a "stronzo" (asshole?) and "merdozo" (shithead?) from time to time by my Italian friends. They claimed that Italians are the best cussers on the planet.

I found this one on a website:

9. Here's a dandy!

Nah-poon Kay-sekee! It's Korean, fairly nasty, and it means, literally (all those under 18, cover your eyes!) "Bad Puppy!"
Isn't that awful? Okay, in Korean culture it is awful, but we Peace Corps volunteers had difficulty keeping from snickering when we heard oaths like that flung about.

On the other hand, English cuss words don't translate too well, either. We were visiting my in-laws in Seoul, and our son, age 12, was out playing stick-ball or something with the neighborhood kids. He swinged and missed, and said what he thought meant "shit!" in Korean (ddong, for you Korean speakers). The neighborhood kids looked at him slightly bewildered. "Yeah, shit, so what. That's what comes outta yer butt." He looked back in some bewilderment as well. "It's a bad word in English." They replied, "Huh! Okay, English is weird." And they all resumed their game, having accomplished the cultural interchange.

used something that sounds like "Koos-say-mah"

It's a generic Middle Eastern expression, sort of Arabic, and I was told it means "fuck your mother." Not used lightly over there. (Might go well with "Bush," though.)

"Stronzo la casuma" (sp?) was a favorite of an old Italian friend. It apparently means "shit with little holes in it" He couldn't say it without cracking up.

It's interesting somehow, in Germany most "dirty words" we use to be offensive are related to excrements. They are rarely related to sex and if, it's mostly related to masturbation like "Wixer".
I could never ever understand, why americans use words related to sex to offense people.

Muschi is a nickname for cats in Germany and it's a nickname for the genital parts of a woman, too. A very nice one. No woman would be anoyed with you if you call her genital "Muschi", but she might be annoyed with you, if you call HER "muschi". And wischen in german simply means cleaning... No relation to "wichsen" at all!
O.k. o.k. Muschi in german is like pussy in english, exactly the same...
