In fact, I consider it the worst record of the 1980s, bar none!

3. falco uber alles
Er war ein Punker
Und er lebte in der großen Stadt
Es war Wien, war Vienna
Wo er alles tat
Er hatte Schulden denn er trank
Doch ihn liebten alle Frauen
Und jede rief:
Come on and rock me Amadeus

Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus
Amadeus Amadeus, oh oh oh Amadeus

Edited on Sat Oct-18-03 01:31 PM by InkAddict
my dear departed doggie - Once upon a time, a really cute pooch showed up on public television auction, and we won the bidding war (probably the very last thing we won). Anyway, that song was in full play and the pre-teen kids liked it so that they named the doggie Rockin' Rascal Amadeus (pure cocker). He was a really great family doggie, but unfortunately passed on from pancreatic cancer some time ago. Well, the kids grew up (like Jackie Paper) and the new cocker, a dead ringer, is named, can you believe it, Falco - One person's trash is another's treasure for sure!!!

Oops, spell check!

I Think I'm Turning Japanese
Dave Fenton

I've got your picture of me and you
You wrote "I love you" I love you too
I sit there staring and there's nothing else to do
Oh it's in color
Your hair is brown
Your eyes are hazel
And soft as clouds
I often kiss you when there's no one else around

I've got your picture, I've got your picture
I'd like a million of you over myself
I asked the doctor to take your picture
So I can look at you from inside as well
You've got me turning up and turning down
and turning in and turning 'round

I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so

I've got your picture, I've got your picture
I'd like a million of you over myself
I asked the doctor to take your picture
So I can look at you from inside as well
You've got me turning up and turning down
and turning in and turning 'round

I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so

No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women
No fun, no sin, no you, no wonder it's dark
Everyone around me is a total stranger
Everyone avoids me like a psyched lone-ranger
Everyone

That's why I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so...

26. Lawyers In Love by Jackson Brown

I can't keep up with what's been going on
I think my heart must just be slowing down
Among the human beings in their designer jeans
Am I the only one who hears the screams
And the strangled cries of lawyers in love

God sends his spaceships to America, the beautiful
They land at six o'clock and there we are, the dutiful
Eating from TV trays, tuned into to Happy Days
Waiting for World War III while Jesus slaves
To the mating calls of lawyers in love

Last night I watched the news from Washington, the capitol
The Russians escaped while we weren't watching them, like Russians will
Now we've got all this room, we've even got the moon
And I hear the U.S.S.R. will be open soon
As vacation land for lawyers in love

28. VERY strange coincidence....
I saw this thread this morning and got a giggle. I was going out for coffee with the BF and wandered across the street, where my VERY elderly neighbors were having a yard sale (actually, their kids were running it - the neighbors are both hospitalized currently and the kids are selling the house and moving them up to their property).

Anyway... the very FIRST thing I notice at the yard sale is a Falco cassette tape. Yep... Rock me Amadeus!

Now why this couple even OWNED that is beyond my comprehension. He's retired military, in his late 70's. His wife's the same age and a "southern lady".

Falco is everywhere!! Rock on, Amadeus!
