Marxist theory in practice on Turner Classic Movies
Edited on Fri Apr-08-05 10:16 PM by lenidog
The brothers Marx, Groucho, Chico, Harpo, and Zeppo are spreading their special brand of chaos on TCM. Right now "Monkey Business" is on followed by "Animal Crackers" at midnight. Take a peek and see some master comedians at work.

1. I HATE My Cable System! They don't carry TCM
:(

Not Fair.

Maybe someday Cablevision will get taken over by some system that does carry it? I can only hope.

2. That sucks
They are running "April Fools" month, every Mon, Wed, and Fri they are running a bunch of films from a certain comedian. This week its been Buster Keaton, Cary Grant and now the Marx Brothers. I hope that they will pick it up soon because it is the last true bastion for watching classic movies. Especially since AMC has been totally screwed up and has stopped showing classic movies. They are also very ballsy, last year during Oscar month they ran Scorsese's "Raging Bull" at midnight uncut and unedited. Which is pretty much a risk these days.
