Post a wildlife photo that YOU took.
I think I'll start with this photo I took of a humpback whale:

Both aren't really "in the wild" but are not in a zoo either. They're from the Public Gardens in Boston.

8. Beautiful. :)
Looks like a female mallard and a swan, eh? Sounds wild enough to me. The pond at the local college attracts all kinds of water fowl. I consider them to be wild.

Very nicely done! I wish I had access to a really good camera. :)

10. Those were taken with my old Olympus digital that I just sold
It was a very nice camera, just not high enough resolution for doing large prints.

I halfway wish I'd kept it around, but if I had I couldn't have afforded the new one.

my own. An African Cichlid: A Cobalt Blue Cichlid. (the scientific name is a bit too complex for my mind to remember. :-( )

I know, I did rather bend the rules a little (I never break them!) as the fish isn't mine, but he is wild. Even have some babies thanks to him. Only one survived and I think that one's a male too. (this should get interesting, it's the aquatic version of Genesis... Adam and Eve; Cain and Abel. One kills the other and then must surely bonk Eve or else no other humans get made, hehe...)

I don't get out much, but I do have wildlife pics on my website:

The top one, especially. Great detail, great color. How'd you take it? I've never even tried fish because I figured the flash would reflect off the tank back at me and blanche out the picture.

And the deer photo is hysterical. I hope the gay one didn't get his ass kicked by the straight one afterwards. Antlers! <shudder!>

which is about 225 miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula. The eagles flock there in the winter by the hundreds. The moose was about a mile from my house...I took the picture out of the car window.

47. It was taken last June.
These were the two best shots that I scanned in, but there was a whole herd of them, including mamas and little calfs. The males stood off a bit, looking regal like these two. The females and calfs were laying in the field, leisurely nibbling on the yellow flowers. :)

They were skittery, though, and I wasn't able to get any good shots of them even with the telephoto. :(

Enough food for a week,
But I don't see how in the helican.

38. I am going to post some pictures that I have taken out my kitchen window
where I have a bird feeder. It entertains my cats as well as myself

Here is a male cardinal that stays all winter.

Here is my cat, Cassie, doing some bird watching.

Sometimes the bird feeder attracts wildlife other than birds.

and again..

Sometimes I will put birdseed on the wall of my porch as well

and that will also attract some squirrels.

I laughed out loud at the cat pic and the upside-down squirrel. :) The cardinal picture is first class. We don't have cardinals where I live, but my bird watching book says they can be occasional visitors to Southern California. I live in Northern California, so I wouldn't know. Your cardinal is redder than the house. :)

The other guy looks like either a purple or house finch. I'm not sure which. I'd have to look him up.

About the sig line: I believe the last two elections were stolen, so by the repubs destroying democracy, they are making peaceful revolution impossible.

Now if they keep doing that and the masses ever wake up and smell the coffee, that is when we'll take to the streets.

I keep thinking about a hot civil war and wondering whether I could condone it...or even participate. I just don't know. I'm not Gandhi- or MLK Jr.-like. I don't think I'm a pacifist, but I see how most of America's wars have sewn the seeds of the next war. I wouldn't want to become violent and have that violence bite me in the ass.

Still, they are making it difficult, aren't they?

The only alternative I can think of is a massive strike of sorts.
