Poll question: What drug inspired more art.
From Ozzie's "Snow Blind", to Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing, some of our best artist's muse really came out when they loaded on something. Post any examples you can think of.

1. I used to live in a house full of artists
anything from painting to writing to music, you name it. None of them were as creative when they were tripping on acid, or when they were sleep deprived.

12. Inspiration is not creativity, tho
I've had many an inspiring acid trip, but the creativity that proceeded from said inspiration usually came a day or so afterwards.

5. None ,as great art comes from the mind and not drugs.
Look at Rothko his art was killed by his drinking.

7. How 'bout absinthe?
Van Gogh, Seurat, Gauguin, Rimbaud, and just about any other prominent French literary or visual artist you can name in the late nineteenth century were all worshippers of the green goddess.

11. I belive it killed them and the art not bring it on.
You have the cart before the horse to my way of thinking. Absinthe rotted their brains.Gauguin and Van Gogh were unstable and I am not sure about the other two. Not that this takes from thier great art but maybe they could have done more, with out the drugs. Live longer anyhow.
