My parents were in a car accident today

They're actually okay, although my mom had to go to the hospital. She's home now. My dad was just scraped mostly, but they thought my mom's arm was broken (it's not).

My dad drives like a bat out of hell and he made a left turn in front of a guy who hit them on the passenger side (hence why my mom took the brunt of the collision). They were on their way to get my dad's birthday cake, of all things. The other guy's car was totalled but my dad's car is at the auto body shop now.

I'm just grateful they weren't seriously hurt or killed.
