Weirdest places to hide money.
I know several people who have had to clean out their parents' or grandparents' houses after they died and found money in some odd places. One found hundred dollar bills underneath the ironing board cover. Some found them in books. One had a can in the chimney. Some had it frozen in the freezer. What's the weirdest place you have heard of to hide money?

3. My grandfather had money rolled up and stored in a bunch of shoes
in his closet. My grandmother had always wondered why he never got rid of those old shoes...good thing she never did it for him.

8. Don't laugh at the freezer part!
Back when I had money before Nixon was elected and started this country on it's path to destruction, I kept some cash in the freezer. Unless you are wealthy enough to have one of those frost-free ones (that use several times the power of a normal refrigerator so you shouldn't be using one anyway), you'll end-up with a layer of ice on the walls of the freezer. My money was very safe when covered with a couple of inches of ice!

10. I've put money in the freezer too
I was once paid in cash (shady), so I put the couple of thousand dollars in an Eggo box in my freezer. I kept buying groceries with it until it was gone.

I was quite paranoid walking home in Los Angeles with a couple thousand dollars of cash on me, not that anybody would have known.
