Who was the funkiest man of all time?
One of the funkiest certainly would have been Mao Tse Tung, who did not bathe but had hot towels rubbed on him, and refused to brush his teeth, preffering to rinse his mouth with tea. He also felt uncomfortable in an indoor bathroom, so he took dumps in the palace gardens and aides buried it later.

2. Bill Hicks was almost right...
At least I think it was Bill Hicks. He said when the nuclear holocaust occurs, only two things will be left alive: cockroaches and Keith Richards. I think it's pretty safe to add George Clinton to that list.

6. Not according to sacredcow.com!
From a review of one of his shows:

"Two things will survive a nuclear war: Keith Richards and bugs."

Here's another one, which I believe is on his DVD:

"Only three things are gonna survive a nuclear war: cockroaches,
Twinkies, and Keith Richards. Keith is gonna come strolling out with
his guitar slung on his back. <in British accent> 'I saw a bright light. I thought we was on!'"

7. Williams might have stolen it from Hicks on one of his HBO acts.

3. Oh THAT kind of funky.
Wow, never knew that about Mao. Ick.

Musically I was thinking perhaps Billy Preston, he was pretty funky but I never smelled him. :)

4. There Was a Homeless Man in Morristown, NJ...
...who smelled so bad he was asked to leave the public library. he sued, and the court awarded him over $150,000 in damages.

After that, I would see him walking down the street in Morristown. drivers would roll down their windows and shout things at him like "Take a bath!", "Get a life!", and "Get a job!"
