"We're Knights of the Round Table,"
We dance when ere we're able,
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impeccable.
We dine well here in Camelot,
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We're Knights of the Round Table,
Our show are formidable,
But many times, we're given rhymes
That are quite unsingable.
We're Opera mad in Camelot,
We sing from the diaphragm
a looooooot.
In war we're tough and able,
Quite indefatigable,
Between our quests we sequin vests,
And impersonate Clark Gable.
It's a busy life in Camelot,
I have to push the pram a lot.

14. I accidentally caught myself saying "tracts of land" ...
... during an agricultural economics lecture the other day -- and nobody in a 1st-year college class recognized the expression! What can we do about today's kids?

3. GALAHAD: Look, let me go back in there and face the peril.
LAUNCELOT: No, it's too perilous.
GALAHAD: Look, my duty as a knight is to stop as much peril as I can.
LAUNCELOT: No, we've got to find the Holy Grail. Come on!
GALAHAD: Well, let me have just a little bit of peril?
LAUNCELOT: No, it's unhealthy.

It's on the Special Edition DVD, really quite funny.

10. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system
of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

...you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!

...I mean, if I went 'round saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

ARTHUR: What manner of man are you that can summon up fire without
flint or tinder?

TIM: I... am an enchanter.

ARTHUR: By what name are you known?

TIM: There are some who call me... Tim?
