and don't care what others think... Lose weight if you feel you should or want to.

2. yes, for your health's sake and for those who will have to care for you
in your old age. for your joints, your bones, your internal organs, and how you'll feel. if you don't want to though, it's none of my business, and I don't see any problem with that. if you want to, and you can, I think it is fair to admit that weight is not your optimal weight to maintain your health. just my .02 :7

7. Forget about numbers... and shapes too.
For your health, though... I would suggest if you're not already active, that you start doing some form of aerobic exercise at least 3x / week so your heart and lungs are nice and healthy - talk to your doctor first, of course.

Eating healthy foods is also always a good idea.

I think how you look matters less than how you feel.
