The first player I was ever a fan of was catcher Johnny Edwards -- as a kid I would be glued to the set if the Reds were playing and Edwards was in the roster. Do I have you beat, LynneSin? :)

I'm back to 74, so even though Edwards was on that squad, I have to admit it was another Johnny that kept me glued to the TV set. (if I could get a Reds game - I did grow up in the Philly/Baltimore markets)

5. Our household had major ups and downs with our beloved Reds last year

From being in first place at the All Star break, to their horrid slide downward the3reafter, to their outstanding finals games, where they were the giant killers...we love them dearly and were there for their last home stand.
