Bosses have been around most of the week. Not thrilled w/ the part-time job right now.

13. Motel.
I had to work days the other day here-no sleep at all for about 2 days straight. I was not happy w/ one of the phone messages. They invited the owner to the annual * donors dinner. Won't pay us shit but they can afford to donate on a large scale?

Callie is fine. She is now completely enrolled for summer school.

17. It's halfway down my back.
I am cutting it all off and donating it for charity. My beautician either does Locks of Love or Wigs for Kids(both take the hair and make them into wigs for children who have medically lost their hair). My Mom is doing it too.

I want to shave it all off and my full time job is in support of that(really was shocked there). My part-time job says that they will not allow that to happen-it does not bode well for "look" of the place. I contacted an attorney that I know will look into this for free-if she says that they cannot touch me then I will shave it completely off.

It's just hair-it will grow back.
And my hair grows really fast anyways.

19. No where near as brave as those kids.
They need at least 7 inches. Mom is giving 14 but will have short hair afterwards. We made a ponytail and pulled the hair straight on mine yesterday-nearly 15 inches if I don't go bald. I hope that bald will go at least 20.

You are so right, those kids are really brave to fight cancer and other illness.

21. Really thick and curly.
So they said that the curls can be stretched out. Between that and the thickness, they should be able to do quite a bit w/ it.

23. First time so I am pretty scared.
I cut it off once when I was pregnant. It was down to my rear and I cut it to a chin length bob. They donated it but that was not the primary motive to cut it. I was 8 months pregnant and we were in the middle of a heatwave so I was miserable. The donation was secondary.
I started growing my hair out about 9 months ago. It was mid-neck then and now it is nearly halfway down my back. So it does grow really fast.
Besides, think of how easy it will be to do my hair now. Nothing to it. And I don't even have to buy shampoo.

24. it really grows fast
when I went to get a haircut in Feb I asked my bf if I should let it cut short or let it grow. He decided for growing. But my hair won't grow that long. it is now shoulder length and I think that is about it. Maybe a little bit more but never as long as yours. ENVY ... LOL

25. Best time of year to cut it here.
Before it gets too hot and muggy. Might just have a comfortable summer this year-since the hair will be gone.

27. I told her about it and she got upset.
Especially when I said that her Grandma would have short hair and I wouldn't have any at all. Then I took her to the Locks of Love site and showed her the kids and explained to her that they would get to wear my hair like a hat until they were all better and could grow their own hair back. Now she wants to cut hers off too and give it to "the sick little girls".

Besides, it could take awhile-I have quite a bit of hair and Mom's getting hers done on the same day at the same time. Too much of a wait for her.

45. Hi, ffm172,
Good to see you posting! I'm glad you heard from your bf! Sorry about the rainy weather. I've been having printer problems; last night I spent ONE HOUR on the phone with a very nice lady technician at HP who did finally solve my printer problems. Unreal. She did say that she'd never encountered my particular problem before. I'm really jazzed that it is again working...

Stay well! Have fun...

glad that your printer is working again. It is always pissing when something is not working and one can't find the reason. Since I have my new computer at home my old (quite good) scanner is not working anymnore. It's not working under XP. :wtf: You can imagine how upset I am about that.
