This isn't the first time something like this has happened - rogue staff...sometimes I wonder is some of them aren't plants

4. They fucked up
the RW press like the Washington Times, NewsMax, World net Daily et al were trying to say the GOP Schiavo memo was a Democratic Forgery. Now Mel Martinez admits that it was real, but a 'staffer' created it and no one ever really saw it or acted on it. Sounds plausible :sarcasm:

5. How naive to think it was a "staffer".
Give me a break.

6. It is rather amusing to see the Freepers follow the leader
if Mel Martinez blames it on a low level pencil pusher, then it must be true.

7. poor babies

It's like the description of sheep in Douglas Adams's "Dirk Gently's...Detective Agency", who are startled every morning by the sunrise. Freepers are startled and shocked that their side lies to them every single time they catch it- there's a crisis every f'ing month, if not more often. Tora Bora. Plame. WMDs. Guckert. Bush's DUI.

Just wait until the day Dubya has a grand mal epileptic seizure, and their Man of God is revealed as just another temporal lobe epileptic "religious" hallucinator who spends most of his time zoned out on "Stupamax"/"Dope-amax" Topamax. Who got told by God to invade Iraq coincident timewise to an absence seizure.

Or the day Robin Lowman Garner admits to the abortion in Houston in 1970.

Their end as politically privileged folk is closer than they can imagine.
