Many a tear has to fall
but it's all
in the game.

You had words with him
and your future's looking dim

These things you heart
can rise above.................

uh oh,,,,,I have an idea

3. There's always next year
never give up, never even think about the pain.

The future brings the unknown, but to those that believe...................................................................................................

2. All in the wonderful game that we know as love.

You have words with him and your future's looking dim,
but these things your hearts can rise above.

Once in a while he won't call, but it's all in the game.
Soon he'll be there at your side with a sweet bouquet.

Then he'll kiss your lips and caress your waiting fingertips,
and your hearts will fly away.

4. The GREAT Tommy Edwards & NightTrain: a ? please
Who performed at the Rathskellar in Virginia Beach, each summer during the early 60's. A wonderful song, and how can you not love Tommy Edwards?

NightTrain:
When did Tommy Edwards pass away?

Two more:

Are you a "Junior Walker & The Allstars" ("What Does It Take") fan?

Have you ever heard Clarence "Big Man" Clemmons's record (I have it on a cassette...circa 1986)? It has some fine tunes on it like "Moon Ain't Gonna Rise Anymore" and "Christina" + +.

5. The answers to Linkman's questions
Edited on Fri Oct-17-03 09:36 PM by NightTrain
1. Tommy Edwards died on October 23, 1969. He was 47.

Incidentally, Edwards recorded "It's All in The Game" twice. The first time was in 1951, when it peaked at #19. Then, for whatever reason, Edwards decided to re-cut his old hit in 1958, at which point it spent six weeks at #1. Good thinking, Tommy! ;-)

2. Hell yes, I'm a Junior Walker fan! I play his "Ultimate Collection" CD on Motown all the time.

3. No, I've not heard the Clemons album. Sorry 'bout that....
