Anybody listen to Thom Hartman??
I just got an ipod I ordered earlier this week (my cd player is broken and stuff) and I was wondering if anybody else here likes him? I was also wondering if anybody had an ipod because I have a question for you if you do. You can PM me if you like.

4. Thank you
I'll check. So far I'm enjoying Thom. I was listening to Al Franken's rerun but didn't care for today's (er yesterday) show.

5. I really enjoy listening to Hartmann.
I find him greatly preferable to the bombast of Randi Rhodes and Ed Schultz.

This is not to say I have a problem with Randi and Ed, I just find their style a bit tiresome.

7. I've listened to Thom Hartmann since mid December. I think he's
just great. Some Tuesdays he has NLP lessons, which are the greatest. If you get a chance go to http://whiterosesociety.org click on the Thom Hartmann link and download these days- 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, 12/8, 12/14, 12/28 of 2004; 1/5/05, 1/11/05, 1/18/05.
He's done a couple more NLP lessons since then. I'm not sure of the dates. You can listen to him via radiopower.org. He's on that from 11am to 2pm central time. radiopower.org is part of the talk/spoken word section of the radio playlist in iTunes.

9. I found out about him from ITunes
:) I was just trying things out and decided to take a listen. Franken's show wasn't any intrest of me from yesterday's. :) Oh and I tried to figure out how to put AAR onto my ipod from that enews.org but can't figure out how to get it into my pod.

10. You can't stream AAR in your iPod but you can download the shows
from http://airamericaplace.com/archive.php The Thom Hartmann show is archived at http://whiterosesociety.org In order to get archived shows there you need to become a monthly subscriber. Then drag the downloads into iTunes, and they should automatically be put on your iPod
Here is benburch's policy

Monthly Recurring Subscription

The suggested payment for a monthly subscription is $5.95, recurring, but using the text box next to the payment button (below) as little as $1 will create a monthly subscription which will give you full access to the archives, and of course, if you feel Thom's show is worth more than the suggested price, you are free to enter a higher amount. If you cannot afford a subscription, and cannot utilize our live stream, a copy of each day's show is posted to the Usenet newsgroup "alt.binaries.sounds.radio.misc". Also, if you absolutely cannot afford a subscription, write to me, and I can give you one gratis.
