A fellow named Jim Krueger did. He was the college roommate of my former boss at a radio station.

It's a great song, though, eh?

8. No, that Dave Mason had the hit that he did with the late Jim Krueger's
song. Some of them all went to the West Coast with him decades ago.
Some things happened and there was talk about driving Jim to suicide.
Hey, I'm just glad you know who wrote that song that was such a hit for Mr. Mason.

9. I knew Jim had died also, but I must have blocked out
that it was a suicide. My boss told me Jim had died relatively young.

11. I was never a real big Dave Mason fan.
I liked it when he was with Traffic, though...One of my favorite albums is "Welcome to the Canteen"...
