I have one I will share. I am basically what you would call a "Punk Rocker". Old school. I used to listen to The Circle Jerks, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Billy Idol, etc.

HOWEVER, when no one is around, I love to listen to show tunes. I have the Cole Porter CD in right now as I type.

Also I've won a couple of "best legs" contests. I know, I know, doesn't really work well with that intellectual image I cultivate.

Which school, which sorority? :hi: tigereye!

BTW - my kid's school field trip to the Pirate game is on May 13. I'm going to try to go this year, and not chicken out like last year, when it was cold and thunderstorming!

that was one of the first things I think we talked about! How could it have been a year? GASP. I'm not sure when our school trip there is, we should compare notes and see if it's the same day. ;)

I went to Pitt for both undergrad and grad. I was a Delta Phi Epsilon for about one year. And that was plenty.

20. My mom and I once...
Edited on Wed Apr-06-05 01:24 PM by fudge stripe cookays
snuck our cat into the hospital to visit my dad when he was dying.

It made my dad VERY happy to see his best buddy, and we all had a smile about it.

One of the nurses told the doctor years later, and that's how he remembered my mom and I for years afterward.

22. I am deathly afraid of wet paper
including stickers and small pieces of paper that if wet, would be very troublesome. This includes business cards and small post-it notes. Straw papers make me vomit.

I have no idea why.

27. Couldn't tell ya!
Wish I knew. Any aspiring psych majors on the board? I have two theories:

1. I was kind of a geek in elementary school... spit ball target on more than one occasion, but I seem to remember it being a problem before then.

2. I kind of associate it with cigarettes...(spit on the end of filters, makes me sick just thinking about it, really) both of my parents chain smoked. My dad died of lung cancer in 1998 and my mom is battling breast cancer. I used to try to hide them when I was little and I got in major trouble when threw some in a bucket of water. All I could think of was that my parents were trying to kill themselves (and apparently, did a pretty good job of it!) But again, I remember hating wet paper around the same time.

28. I am a Military Nut...
I like all kinds of cool military gear, especially aircraft. From my early teens on, I study, read military books, run aircraft missions in my flight simulator and generally soak up everything about the history and subject.

However I am one of the peace oriented and personally pacifist people you would ever meet...I think learning about it has made me realize the true consequences of war.

Pacifist...except occasionally on the ice when someone cheap-shots me.
