3. I actually saw a kid throw a temper tantrum over a condom

This happened years ago, me and a girlfriend were at a local sub shop/slash bar having dinner. The bar and the sub shop were seperated so the clinetelle never had to mix. So in the bathrooms of the sub shop for some insane reason they had a temp tatoo machine and a condom machine that were one machine. Someone had ripped off the label and with majic marker had marked the tatoo machine but not the condom. So this 10 year old kid goes in and saw the tatoo written on it and puts his money in. Except he got the wrong one and out pops a condom. He then proudly walks out of the bathroom up to his mother and shows her the condom. His mother was horrified and grabs it, the kid starts screaming for her to give it back and for her to tell him what it is. That woman wanted to sink into the floor by that time and yelled back for him to sit down and she would tell him at home or be put int the car. I wonder if she ever did.

4. Good grief!

If the mother had remained calm and allowed the kid to inspect the condom, he probably would have been quiet and engaged while she and everyone else enjoyed their dinner.

I guess she just freaked and thought her kid was raised better than that. Though it was kinda hilarious at the time.

6. Reminds me of the time my little brother . . .

at age 5 stumbled onto the stash of femine hygiene products in us girls' bathroom at home. Ripping into a box of "mini pads," he rushed to ask my mom what they were for, so she explained. When he asked if he could have one, she rolled her eyes and handed him a mini-pad. He trotted off to the living room, and then returned about five minutes later to ask for another. Turns out that "mini pads" were the perfect cure for little five-year-old sweaty sneaker feet. My sister and I have never allowed him to live this down.

Never, ever let him live that down. :rofl: That is priceless. Also a great story to embarrass him good naturedly in front of a new girlfriend or a fiancee.:evilgrin:

I guess if I had a kid and the kid showed me a condom and asked what it was, I'd explain just enough to satisfy the kid's curiosity. Probably a good thing I don't have kids because after the requisite truthful explanation, I don't think either my husband or I could resist that condoms _also_ also make pretty good balloons.
