I got it for ya.

At the school where I used to teach, we had this sub, a man, who had some really odd mannerisms and was completely difficult to get along with. Horrible with the kids, etc. One day, he flipped out on the kids, took off one of his shoes, one of his socks, then used the sock as a sock puppet to talk to the kids with so HE wouldn't have to talk to them (these were eighth graders). The principal happened by and saw this. He was warned not to ever do that again. It was just....disturbing. He wasn't trying to be funny.

Well, I always heard the kids refer to him as "Mr. Garrison." I have never watched South Park. So I thought his name WAS Mr. Garrison.

One day the teacher next door was out and this sub was in there and the class was just going crazy. My class couldn't even concentrate. So I went over there. I usually hesitate to, because I hate to undermine the sub's authority, but hell he had none to begin with.

I sternly warned them to LISTEN TO MR. GARRISON.

I had no idea why they all exploded in laughter to the point that a few slumped, jelly-like, out of their chairs onto the floor. "Mr. Garrison" was extremely angry and yelled at me "MY NAME IS NOT MR. GARRISON! IT'S MR. WHITE!!!"

I still didn't know why the kids were laughing so hard and I explained I had always heard them call him that. He said he had no idea why, as he never introduced himself that way.

None of them could explain. They were too busy sputtering and wetting their pants, and I left in disgust. Only later did a kid tell me who "Mr. Garrison" was.

He no longer works as a sub, btw. He was just too creepy for words and got taken off the sub list. That's a big deal because the district will take almost anyone with a pulse, they're so hard up for subs.
