I got a letter today from Kay Bailey Hutchison thanking me for writing her on something that I've never written her on. I haven't written her since January (I know it does no good, so I write to those who will listen), and I'd already received the form letter response on election reform from that e-mail. It's good to see my tax dollars hard at work sending out letters thanking people for responses they never sent.

Also, I noticed a couple of weeks ago when writing DeLay, that his contact page says that if you want to be heard, you should use the online form, not snail mail. The reason given is that postal mail takes SIX MONTHS to get through because of the security system that the mail has to go through. :wtf: It takes SIX MONTHS for them to open a letter????

From DeLay and KBH alike, of course, they aren't going to listen to me. The weird part about the KBH thing is, I didn;'t even write her, but I got a response.

if the lists I am signed up for are not sending things without my permission. I have thought a couple times that I got letters when I never sent anything.
