I can't keep all of you people straight anymore.
Please respond by giving a brief (25 words or less) description of yourself. Please include any specific instances when you and I have had a memorable interface.

Thanks in advance.

There was a swimming hole there that we canoed to called "The Devil's...something". Great spot. I also remember that we had to run a 50ft. extension cord to our tent so that we could run a fan to keep cool. But we survived.

And Garners. We were there in the fall one year. The water was turquoise, the shore was white and the cypress trees were rust-colored. Really cool place.

66. The Devil's Waterhole!
Yes, that's Inks Lake SP. It's a tiny little lake but the water is nice and cool all summer because it comes off the bottom of the large Lake Buchanan. They've done makeovers on most of the SP in Texas enclosing the Cabana's and adding kitchenette's to some. One thing Texas does have are some nice SP's. The politics suck and the school system is a joke, but we still have our State Parks. :)

75. Well, I have been mostly staying in the lounge, esp since my mom died at
the end of January. I have just been too depressed to deal with the hard stuff lately.

So if your ship ever wants to hook up with my ship, we'll have to dock in the lounge. (dang, that's really hokey but I am too lazy to rewrite it. :P )

But on the bright side, I don't believe we've ever been on one another's shit lists. You'll correct me if I'm wrong.

he once spit upon me while singing. That was just one of our many Todd discussions. We've also shared out love of XTC and I once advised you on a nice place to stay in Sedona. I also mentioned once, that I indirectly made some money off of you by selling your former band's merchandise (I'll always feel like I owe you) ;-) .

Did that make any sense at all?

You and Mrs. XNASA drove me home from a DU gathering at Moody's Pub where I imbibed too much of their sangria. (Dangerous shit, it goes down like Kool-Aid.)

You also very graciously showed Mr. Forradalom and I around your neighborhood after a drink at the local brew pub.

116. Ok, me...
I'm SarahBelle, formerly known on DU as populistmom from November 2002-March 2004 (but I didn't post as much then). I'm known for being either pretty nice to people with the occasional chiming in when I see rabidly sexist threads or those telling me that women's issues should be compromised as part of the platform of the Democratic party, but I'm still sometimes a flirt on my own terms. I don't like to get into flamewars and people often underestimate me, but I can match horns with the best of them when I have to. I work in healthcare and I'm halfway through another degree toward being an RN. I'm almost at the end of a divorce to a guy, who, although as left as me, has been somewhat of a misogynist in terms of his relationships with women. Sometimes I whine about that. In person, I'm a bit more reserved, but I have a definite streak of sarcasm as well. Most people find me easygoing, open, and nice to talk to.

We've never met or had many things back and forth with us, but nothing negative I believe either. Overall, you seem like a nice guy to me. :)
