I'd say the door was open to bringing up Keaton in such a discussion. As such I didn't really see it as "hijacked". When someone claims someone to be the "best" of anything, you have to assume someone thinks someone else it the best.

In future, if Lynne does not go for debate on her post, she should note "agreement only" or some such thing. It has never been tried as far as I know. It would be an interesting experiment.

That being said, you are dead wrong, Chaplin Kicks Keaton's ass. He's good. But Chaplin was GREAT!

Or the nicest guy. Just best comedic actor. There MY BOY has the edge! I think America generally agrees. I see a hell of a lot more Chaplin On TV than Keaton. Ratings just don't hold up for the venerable Buster Keaton.
