1. I gotta vote for John Taylor
LOVE that bass sound.

I was such a fan back in the day. Not the girly "oh they're so HOT!" way... I just dug their sound.

I went to a concert with my youngers sis and a friend and they CRIED! Oh Lord... I could hardly believe it, but they did.

3. You left out Warren Cuccurullo, Joe Travers and Wes Wehmiller (RIP).
They were all better than the other five.

6. Warren Cuccurullo
I voted for Other (Cuccurullo). I've no idea what he did with Duran Duran but he was in Zappa's band so that's worth a vote in my book :-)

4. Andy Taylor
In purely musical terms, Duran Duran was never worth a shit without him. He and John were the actual talent in the band, and a bass player can't carry a band on his own, no matter how good he is. The Power Station album was 10 times better than any of those Duran-lite albums that followed.
