OK, Who wants to be on my buddy list?

I haven't utilized the buddy list feature here at DU, mostly because, other than remind me of who I like and who I don't, I don't really know what it does. So, who wants to be on my buddy list, and who knows what it does?:dunce:

1. I have not used

it either. I think I accidently put someone on it once while just fooling around, not that I don't like that person but it was a mistake. I don't use ignore either, been sorely tempted on occasion. I am going to go put you on my buddy list and see what happens.

Edit I just did it, no sounds of trumpets. What DOES it do?

13. I've never used the "buddy" or "ignore" list either.

No one on here has ever done anything to me that would warrant being placed on ignore. What does the buddy list do? I'll put you on mine!
