1. Yeah, I used to live on Lake Eries shoreline
And spring sucked. However it did extend fall.

Now, Lake Tarpon and the Gulf of Mexico never freeze.

by the Lake Erie. I grew up on a cliff over looking Lake Erie. I watched the long ships passing.

3. I live a mile from Lake Michigan
I don't mind the "cooler near the lake" thing in the spring, because most of the time, the lake effect works to our advantage -- warmer in the winter (a little snowier, but lake-effect snow on the western edge isn't too bad), and cooler in the summer.

15. I Live Near a Not-So-Great Lake - Lake Pueblo
Edited on Sun Apr-03-05 08:51 PM by CO Liberal

This picture looks like it was taken from the scenic overlook that's about a mile from my house.

Lake Pueblo is man-made lake that was formed by the Pueblo Dam. President Kennedy came to Pueblo in 1962 to sign the legislation that authorized the construction of Pueblo Dam.

18. I live near a small lake!
It's 10 miles around. It makes for a nice green area and wildlife sanctuary in the middle of the city. White Rock Lake in Dallas! :)

19. Lake Huron
I live near lake Huron, and it is nice to have a beach nearby. Still, it gets chilly even in the summer sometimes. A cold breeze comes off the lake. I really hate being cold too.
