Firefox 1.0.2: anyone else having repetitive crashes ?
I usually have few to no crashes with Firefox. This iteration, though, is testing my patience. I did this post with Opera 8.0 Beta 3.

1. There is one website that will make me crash
so when I open that website I use ie. Otherwise, I don't have a problem.

I upgraded to 1.0.2 both at home and at work and everything's fine so far.

6. Same here
no major, frequent crashes. DU and other web pages are stable. No reason to downgrade to 1.01.

5. Version 1.0 here
It always crashes when I open Thom Hartmann's chat room, which is a Java applet. My friend was having the same problem with Yahoo games, again, a Java app. Yahoo games worked fine for me though.

7. On windows? Try an uninstall/reinstall without deleting profile.
I think that's possible. Worst case scenario, I work for a lot of Linux bugzillas. Mo-zilla invented the Bug-zilla. Go to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org to report your problem.

8. Certainly more crashes than with the previous versions
Not a huge number -- maybe once or twice a week -- but I have been aware of it.

12. I've been having c rashes, but it seems to have started after a couple of
add-ons. The translator is the add-on I think is causing my crashes

14. Yes, I'm very cautious about adding a lot of extensions
to Firefox. They can make it unstable, imho.
