1. Where is the mention of the Cubs?
Oh, I forgot. They can't win until Armageddon is directly on the horizon.

14. We fans understand too well.
Red Sox are not the only ones who understand anguish. Now they are the common ones. We rule!

18. heh
you'd have my sympathy but then you Cub's fans showed up at a Marlins-Expos game for the sole purpose of cheering against the marlins.

19. We do that sometimes.
I live in MO now. The only time I go to a Royals game is to root against them.
It's in the blood.

21. Yeah
I know you are a fan of an often overlooked team...In the NL East it is all about the damn Braves all the time. I would like nothing better than for the Marlins to big time show the Braves up!

27. The Seattle Mariners
A girl can dream. I'm not quite sure, however, how I'm going to feel tomorrow when the opening lineup is announced, and Edgar Martinez isn't in it.

31. A new era
It's going to suck that Edgar's gone, but I am definitely looking forward to the kids like Reed and the sluggers like Beltre taking over. If Ichiro's as hot a hitter as he was last year, it's going to be a lot of fun. Then of course, there's King Felix, who will make his debut sometime in the middle of the season. :)

Spring is the time for optimism. I thought we were going to be in the hunt for the playoffs last year... certainly went south in a hurry.
