Whats up with the pants with writing on the butt???
I was in a store yesterday and there was a woman in there with those pants on. I had seen these pants on younger women and thought it was odd. This woman was about 40 and she had an enormous rear end- I thought about telling her they spelled "wide load" wrong but I just couldn't say anything due to my nausea.

1. Funny. What pants are you talking about and what do you mean writing
on the butt?

2. These were pink sweat type pants.
They had some kind of writing on the butt. I didn't really catch what it said- I couldn't bear to look too long.

Those are the frou frou, rich person sweatpants.

There are also knockoffs.

Though, my daughter has a pair of Baby Phat jeans that says "Baby Phat" on the butt. They're really adorable though, the Baby Phat logo is a cat and she loves them for that reason. :silly:

3. Those low-rider pants looks like crap on about 80% of
the people who wear them. Even those of perfectly normal weight.

I know this was somewhat off-topic but it had to be said,

7. I so totally agree with you
I was shopping for capri pants last summer and almost all of them were low riders...I have given birth to two children...I have no business wearing low riders.

18. I agree...
I especially hate it when people buy them a size too small... they'd look better if they didn't squeeze, but... to each her own, I guess. Yuck, IMO, though. I'm with you, after having a kid, I want pants that do a little hiding/holding in, please!

10. That butt seems to have made an impression on you
As a rule, I don't care much about people's weight. But wearing writing on clothes to draw attention to one's derriere is a little less usual.

Anyway, "boo-tay" is the current body-part craze, like "gams" (legs) were in the 1940s. Don't be surprised if you see pants with transparent cheek-windows make a comeback soon.

17. Transparent cheek-windows, ha!
And somebody posted a pic here not long ago of a high fashion model on a runway in South America with her butt totally exposed! About a month or o later someone told me he saw a woman in one of the sleazier areas of our town walking around with a fat naked butt. And it was about 30 degrees out!

13. "I like big butts I cannot lie you other fellas can't deny"
C'mon, why shouldn't she draw attention to her most generous asset?

Are you sure there was no ad slogan on her butt?
