2. Average... about twelve-fourteen pounds
He has asthma, and when he's getting frequent attacks he loses weight. He hasn't had any for several months, so he's pretty hefty, for him. Plus he's all puffed up for the dog. :7

4. He's gorgeous!
The biggest kitty over here is 18 pounds and change. The total for the house (5 indoor cats) is about 72 lbs. None of them would have the nerve to chase off a dog, but Imhotep, the lord of the outdoors, would.

We should get Imhotep & Daddy together.

Erm. . . . on second thought, maybe not. :bounce:

3. These pictures rock!
Go Daddy go - go!

I remember when the neighbors' dog (a black lab, Ally) in Wichita came up on our deck and stood at our back door looking in. My late kitty Fergus was looking out the door and protected us by hissing like mad, and Ally got scared and ran away. Looks like Daddy had much the same effect on this interloper!

17. Good kitty... Kill the devil poop monster dog
Daddy reminds me of my own Jesco, who is also a territorial house cat that monitors all windows and growls low and loudly over trespassers of all species.

22. Those are great ...
He looks so much like the cat I had growing up. Mom & Dad got her right before I was born & she died when we were both 21 ...

She didn't take any shit, either. :)

24. Tig ... weird name, I know.
My parents are a bit odd, though. I miss her ... she looked just like your's, only smaller & she had two white dots above her mouth. Sweetest. Cat. Ever. And, *gasp* she stayed outside all 21 years of her life, except when she got sick. She was a farm kitty - and a very happy one. :)

25. Nah, Tig's a good name for a cat. And farm cats are the BEST!
We sent two ferals to a friend's farm when her barn cat died. They're fat & happy, keeping the stalls free of vermin.
