Garrison Keillor has a terrible nose whistle.

Don't get me wrong, I love Prairie Home Companion, really like Keillor (I especially liked his "Dear Mr. Blue" column on Salon - he gave really good, compassionate advice), but sometimes it is difficult to listen to him b/c every time he breathes in you can just tell his nose is, well, not exactly clear. Bad nose whistle.

Does it bug anyone else? Or just me?

3. last weekend it was terrible...

you know, it could just be springtime allergies or something, but every time he breathed in it was so audible, like the air was fighting and jumping over all these obstacles in his nostrils just to make it to his brain.

Warren Olney on "To the Point" out of LA does the same thing sometimes -- he asks a question, then sorta loudly exhales or something at the end of each question as if the nose whistle is his audio-punctuation. Drives me nuts, though perhaps I'm just overly sensitive.
