I've decided not to cut my fingernails for a long time

1. An interesting hobby

Seems like it would take an amazing amount of patience though.

2. I used to have the standard female long polished nails

Now I don't know how people stand them; as soon as mine get past the end of the finger, they're off!

I don't know how secretaries and others who type all day do it.

5. My nails tend to break off on their own

Occaisionally, I'll get long thumb nails but I cut them when they snag, which they eventually do. I am not allowed to wear finger nail polish at work so I cannot do this to strengthen my nails. I don't like long nails anyway. I usually hurt myself with my nails if they get long.
