Spring fever, who else is feeling it today?
There's nothing like getting out of work early on one of the first really bright sunny days of the year, to literally seem to see the snow melting around you, naturally smiling for the first time in months, and of course the :loveya: .

Who else here?

1. Been spring here awhile, and I still feel it.
We had nice storms last night, my grass is just boiling out of the ground, needs cutting again after just 4 days, all is in bloom, trees leafing out...I LOVE IT!

5. I saw the first flower buds of the year this morning...
Just little green things for now, but things are starting to grow...now if only it stays this way...

12. I peeked at your profile...yer about 3-5 weeks away from the start...
of the "intensity phase," I would guess. I am down South in southern TN, and I can assure you it is heading your way!

:D

2. Oh yeah... I'm feelin' it.
Mowed the lawn *again* last night... allergies going crazy... on the good side my lillies are looking soooo healthy considering I still need to fertilize them. :)

It will be a while before any lawns are mowed around here
but at least some of the green is beginning to show, so that's something...

4. I had that feeling last weekend when it was 65 and sunny
But today it's freezing cold, with snow and 35mph winds. Denver weather is schizophrenic.

I'm sick of winter, bring on Spring!

10. I have the weekend off, so I sure hope it stays this way...
Maybe I'll finally get a chance to go out for a road trip and do some photography, maybe even a little outdoor painting. I'm just aching to get out more...

8. I’m as restless as a willow in a windstorm,
I’m as restless as a willow in a windstorm,
I’m as jumpy as a puppet on a string,
I’d say that I had spring fever,
But I know it isn’t spring.

I’m as starry eyed and gravely discontented,
Like a nightingale without a song to sing.
Oh, why should I have spring fever,
When it isn’t even spring?

I keep wishing I were somewhere else,
Walking down a strange new street,
Hearing words I have never never heard,
From a man I’ve yet to meet.

I’m as busy as a spider spinning daydreams,
I’m as giddy as a baby on a swing,
I haven’t seen a crocus or a rosebud,
Or a robin or a bluebird on the wing,
But I feel so gay in a melancholy way,
That it might as well be spring,
It might as well be, might as well be,
It might as well be spring.

15. I heard you were getting a break
from your relentless winter. Hurrah for spring! :woohoo:

Here in Denver, we just got a couple inches of snow after a week of nice weather. They say it'll be up in the 60's again tomorrow, but today I'm laying low and avoiding the chilly, chilly, chilly arctic air lurking outside my door. Brrr!!!

:hi:

19. Yes, yes, yes!
I've had an excellent morning and hopefully everything will work out, but I don't yet want to jinx myself yet, so mum's the word.

I want to do a happy dance though because I'm so excited though. :bounce:

Nothing like enjoying the balmy spring weather with the sunroof open, blasting "Black Metallic" by Catherine Wheel.
