Isn't it funny how money can get you in the worst mood?
Dammit. Traveling on business this weekend, put in reimbursement form a month in advance, my boss made a mistake on the form, just found out about it THIS week, which means cannot resubmit this close to business trip, so now I have to wait THREE weeks to be reimbursed for mileage, gas, hotel room (two nights), meals, and conference fee. AAAACK!!!! And by the time they reimburse me, I will have been paid again, but meanwhile BROKE until then because of this frigging conference.

This is coinciding with hostessing a shower for a friend--cha-ching--buying gift for said friend, and paying tuition--cha-ching!

IT PISSES ME OFF!!! I hate it when shit like this happens. When it rains, it pours.

And now I'm in a DAMN bitter mood.

1. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for my reimbursement.
I thought consolidating agencies was supposed to make things more efficient. Our OLD agency paid travel in a week or so.

I have a wedding this weekend, a gift for said wedding...ahhhhhhhhh! Good thing tomorrow is pay day.

5. Man, I wish
my payday were tomorrow. Mine hits just after the middle of the month. It's a really weird payday date.

I hear ya on the efficiency thing. I found out yesterday.

4. Well that's even worse!
LOL (I can't stay in a bad mood, it's impossible, no matter how hard I try.)

At least my nose isn't runny and it's sunny outside.

Maybe I should go for a brief walk at lunch, clear my head.

UUUUUURRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

3. I can see why.
All of that adds up significantly. I won't hazard a guess as to how much (none of my business), but I imagine you could certainly use it now.

6. One simple little mistake.
My boss make ONE little mistake on the form. How was he to know you can submit for every other expense in the world, but NOT mileage? And if you include mileage, they just kick back the whole thing and say "Send it in after you get back?"

He felt really bad, though.

7. Ain't it the truth
And it's frustrating as hell because it seems that whenever someone wants money from ME, it's right now!

For example, my doctor's office once forgot to give me an order for an important lab test because a previous test had indicated a possible life threatening condition. I knew nothing of it until EIGHT MONTHS LATER!!!

This same doctor's office threatened to send my account to collection and stop treating me because I was a month late paying a ten dollar copay.

It's enough to make you chew off your own foot.... :nuke:
